To prepare each page of the special section for upload, it's recommended to optimize the PDFs to prevent excessive file size and ensure a faster upload time. It's important to save each page as an individual PDF file and adopt a specific naming convention as follows: "YEAR-MM-DD_fergusfalls_A01.pdf", where "A01" will vary based on the page number. If the total number of pages exceeds three digits, add an additional zero. In case there are multiple sections in the publication, label the pages for each additional section as "B," "C," and so forth. For instance, "2023-02-25_fergusfalls_B001.pdf" and "2023-02-25_fergusfalls_B002.pdf."
Connect to the FTP folder for the site that is set up to receive the special section files. Upload the files to the folder that corresponds to the special section. In this example, for Progress Magazine, the files will be uploaded to the eedition_progress folder.
Once the files have been uploaded go to Townnews Blox (admin.townnews.com) and log in to the backend of the newspaper website.

Once logged in, you will go to the menu and select e-Editions:
Then select New e-Edition
Give the publication a title, select the publication date and time, and choose the special section from the drop down menu. Then click continue.
Check that the files are in order, then click continue.
You will receive confirmation that your publication has been scheduled.
